Every diamond you choose, lab grown or natural, is graded by an accredited gemological laboratory and arrives with its own certificate. You are never taking our word for the quality. You are holding a third party's.
Who Certifies Our Diamonds
Our diamonds are certified by the two most respected laboratories in the industry: the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and the IGI (International Gemological Institute). Both are independent of TruCut Diamonds, which is the entire point. An independent lab has no reason to grade a stone as anything other than exactly what it is.
Each report evaluates the diamond against the same recognized standards, so a G color, VS1 clarity stone means the same thing whether you buy it from us or compare it anywhere else.
What a Diamond Certificate Actually Tells You
A grading report, sometimes called a diamond certificate, is an independent laboratory's full assessment of a single stone. Here is an actual GIA report for a natural diamond in our collection:
3.01 carat round brilliant, G color, SI1 clarity, Excellent cut, Excellent polish and symmetry.
Because the report is tied to that individual diamond, it also serves as proof of identity and authenticity, useful for insurance, appraisal, and your own peace of mind for years after the purchase.
Are Lab Grown Diamonds Certified Too?
Yes. A certified lab grown diamond is graded on the same four characteristics, by the same laboratories, as a natural diamond. The certificate simply also states that the stone was lab grown. Here is an actual IGI report for a lab grown diamond in our collection:

Why Independent Certification Matters
Plenty of retailers price a stone on an in-house estimate. Those estimates almost always flatter the diamond, and there is no way to check them. When you choose a diamond here, you are not taking our word for its grade. Certification costs us more and slows us down, and we consider that the price of earning a purchase this significant. Luxury without transparency is just markup.
