Where our diamonds actually come from.
Two answers, depending on the stone. Both of them plain, and neither of them dressed up.
No mine, no question
A lab grown diamond is chemically and optically identical to a mined one. The only difference is where it formed.
Ours are grown in a laboratory over a period of weeks. No mining, no extraction, and no exposure to the conflict diamond trade at any point in the chain. If ethical sourcing is your main concern, a lab grown stone removes the question entirely.
The Kimberley Process, and past it
Our natural diamonds come through a wholesale marketplace that works only with manufacturers adhering to Kimberley Process guidelines, the joint government, industry and United Nations initiative created in 2003 to stop the trade in conflict diamonds.
It also partners with suppliers using blockchain tracking, which records the route a stone takes from mine to market.
Every stone. Every order. No exceptions.
Whether it grew in a lab or came out of the ground, it arrives with a GIA or IGI report and a documented chain of custody. We do not sell a diamond we cannot account for.
Start with the stone.
