How your piece reaches you, and how to send it back

Everything is made to order, so the timeline depends on the piece. Once it is finished, delivery is free, fully insured, and fast. If it is not right, you have thirty days.

Why there is a wait

Nothing here is made in advance. Your piece does not exist until you order it, which is why there is a production period at all, and why what arrives was made for you rather than pulled from a case.

The two-day delivery window begins once your piece is finished. It is separate from the production time above, not included in it.

How it ships

Every completed order includes the following at no extra cost.

  • Insured two-day express shipping
  • Secure packaging built to protect the piece in transit
  • Signature required on delivery
  • Tracking sent to you the moment it leaves

We ship within the United States. Because signature is required we cannot deliver to PO boxes. Delays caused by carriers or weather are outside our control, though we will help you chase them.

Returning something

If a piece is not right, return it within thirty days of delivery for a refund. This includes custom and made-to-order work, which most jewelers sell final sale.

To be eligible it needs to come back unworn and in original condition, with its packaging, grading report, and documentation, and without resizing or alteration by another jeweler.

How to start a return

  1. Write to Info@trucutdiamonds.com and we will issue a Return Authorization.
  2. Pack the piece with its original packaging, certificate, and documentation.
  3. Ship it back using a tracked and insured method.
  4. Once it arrives and is checked, your refund is issued to the original payment method within seven to ten business days.

Please request authorization before shipping anything back. Returns that arrive unannounced are difficult to trace and slow everything down.

Custom orders

Custom pieces carry the same thirty-day return policy as everything else we sell. You will review and approve the design before production starts. Once it begins the order cannot be cancelled, but it remains returnable for thirty days after it arrives.

Exchanges

If you would prefer a different size or a different piece, write to us and we will arrange it.
